If you’ve spent any time around Paragon Building Group Founder & President Josh Mauney, you know he’s passionate about everything he does, from building homes to improving the greater Triangle community.
Customers all around greater Raleigh, Durham and beyond who have worked with Josh over the years have helped spread the word about Paragon’s high-quality work, beginning when he founded Paragon Building Group at 26 years old.
Now, others across the U.S. have taken notice.
At the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) annual show this past January in Las Vegas, Paragon’s President & Founder was honored as the winner of the 2019 NAHB Young Professionals Award.
The Young Professionals Award, given to the building industry’s top leaders under the age of 45, honor those who:
- Are constantly looking to move forward in their careers
- Actively participate and advance through the three levels of the NAHB Federation
- Promote the best interests of the home building industry
- Work collaboratively with those around them
- Build a positive image in the community
Josh is an active member of a number of community organizations in the Raleigh-Durham area.
He sits on the Advisory Council for the Vernon Malone College & Career Academy, the Triangle’s first career and technical education high school, which offers certificate and diploma programs in HVAC, Electrical Systems, Plumbing, Welding and OSHA Certification. He is a past Chair of the Remodelers Council at the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County and won the HBA President’s Award in 2015 for his work with The Green Chair project, a non-profit organization that assists area families.
